Translation

Κύριε βοήθη τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. τὸν σὸν φύλατε Σταυρολάτρην Ἀνδρέαν.

Lord, help your servant. Protect your servant Andrew Staurolatres.

Commentary

The reverse has a metrical inscription of twelve syllables.

As σταυρο is not in the vocative (“Cross, protect”) or genitive (“servant of the cross”), we read it here as the first part of a family name.
