Commentary
We have restored the owner's name as Chrysodaktylos on the basis of a parallel seal brought to our attention by Werner Seibt and Alexandra Wassiliou-Seibt. Note too a Stephanos Chrysodaktylos attested in a document from Iveron as magistros and vestarches, man of the kaisar, during the 1080s. See PBW : Stephanos 116.
