Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Λέοντι το Βασιλεικῷ.

Mother of God, help your servant Leo Basilikos.

Commentary

It is not clear whether the last word of the inscription should be understood as an admittedly rare family name or as the owner's function as an imperial official.
