St George in military costume, holding a lance in his right hand and a shield in his left. Inscription in two columns: .|Γ|.|Ρ|ΓΙ̣| : [ὁ ἅ(γιος)] Γ[ε]ώργιω(ς). Border of dots.

Commentary

It is not possible to identify the archangel on the obverse with certainty as Michael, but since it is very rare to find Gabriel appearing alone, the image is most likely of Michael.
