Commentary
In her commentary on this interesting metrical inscription, Wassiliou-Seibt states that the term οὐννικῆς φυλῆς should be taken to indicate the owner's Hungarian or Turkic (Seljuk) origin, according to the usage of the twelfth century. The use of breathings and accents is also worthy of note.
