On Beatrix Farrand's San Marino, California letterhead. Penciled date of receipt in top right corner, "Rec'd 2/24/41." "aceous" of 'herbaceous' crossed out in black ink on second page.

Enclosed carbon copy of letter to Paul J. Sachs informing the Administrative Board of Dumbarton Oaks about the same ongoing projects. "Mr. Thacher" typed at the top of the first page.
