Ἐπιφάνιος Καματηρὸς ὁ γράφων.

Epiphanios Kamateros is the one who wrote this.

Dodecasyllabic. This specimen is related to BZS.1958.106.4794, BZS.1958.106.4441, BZS.1958.106.3688, and BZS.1951.31.5.441 in the Dumbarton Oaks Collection, one specimen in Paris (BN 1205), one in Sofia (Museum of Archaeology 140), and two specimens in Zacos Collection. This group is possibly related to three other types belonging to Epiphanios Kamateros and dated to late eleventh century: BZS.1955.1.3865  (parallels BZS.1958.106.2511, BZS.1958.106.4352), BSZ.1955.1.3864, and Spink 127: 48.

The abbreviation mark following letter "A" in the third line of the inscription on the reverse appears to be superfluous. The fact that this mark appears consistently on several seals produced with different boulloteria makes it difficult to explain its presence by engraving error.
