A message regarding the war in Armenia

I write on behalf of the community at Dumbarton Oaks, which from its very conception served as home for scholars of the Armenian culture, to express our deepest concern over the barbaric and tragic events taking place in Nagorno-Karabakh (known as Artsakh to Armenians). We stand together with the Armenian community in denouncing these atrocities. Dumbarton Oaks will continue to document, study, and disseminate throughout the world the extraordinarily rich and historically significant cultural heritage of this community, a heritage and people that were once and now again are being threatened by unjust and inhumane aggression.
