June 28th Monday
Soffit Arch
Mr. Iskender came to the Museum this morning with everything ready for taking moving films, but at very last moment, upon reading new instructions from Kodak Ltd, films were not taken. This decision was due to the new instructions given in the booklet instructing Photoflood Lamps, No. 2. to be used, and Kodaflector adapters to be used for these lamps if good results are to be expected. As none of these things are here in Istanbul, they are being sent for and so work on the moving film are held up for a week or two.
Work coninued on South side of Soffit Arch and on the gold ground of Soffit Arch.
