Paris: Montalant, 1718.
Banduri was a Benedictine monk, originally from Dubrovnik, who moved to Paris to study history and philology under Bernard du Montfaucon (1655-1741). One of his most important studies was this two-volume work on Roman imperial and Byzantine coins.
His introduction critically examines all previous literature on numismatics and is a landmark in numismatic bibliography.
