Nova plantarum americanarum genera

Charles Plumier (1646–1704) was a French botanist and monk whose work on the islands of the Caribbean was later praised by Linnaeus. This copy includes handwritten annotations referring to several of Linnaeus's books. This sort of marginalia extended the use of books printed before the standardization of plant naming.
